"Cecret Lake: Too Quiet to Be True"

A moment of calm at Cecret Lake, tucked high in Utah’s Little Cottonwood Canyon. The scene is quiet — still water, scattered boulders, and soft summer light catching the ridgeline. But what you don’t see is the crowd I had to edit out to create the scene I wanted to share.. This photo was taken between the footsteps, in one of those rare pauses where the landscape slips back into itself.

A reminder that even in the busiest places, stillness can be found — if only for a breath.
